JEFFERSON CITY- Carson-Newman shortstop Brittany Hefner (Talbot, Tenn) helped the Eagles break out the broomsticks Saturday at the Lady Eagle Softball Complex against Pfeiffer. The junior transfer from Walters State went four-for-six with two homers, a triple and seven RBI as the C-N defeated Pfeiffer 9-0 and 9-1.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - University of South Carolina Aiken starter India Kornegay struck out 12 batters and held the Lady Eagles to a pair of singles as the Pacers beat Carson-Newman, 2-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Lady Eagle Softball Complex. ROCK HILL, S.C. – Former Carson-Newman softball All-American Sammi Hatcher Chafin is among the five new inductees to join the South Atlantic Conference Hall of Fame this summer, commissioner Patrick Britz announced on Wednesday.
