Carson-Newman Softball Instruction Camp

The Carson-Newman Lady Eagle Softball Camp is a great place for your daughter to learn the fundamental skills of the game of softball. We are here to teach your daughter the game in a fun environment. There will be coaches and players on hand to help break down the skills for all ages and to as-sure that your daughter receives the utmost personal attention.

Fielding Skills include: All positions—We will go over the funda-mentals of ground balls, fly balls, throwing form, cut offs and relays. As well as proper positioning when defending a base. Catch-ing instruction will include blocking, quick release techniques and framing.

Hitting Skills include: The fundamentals of a swing which include proper hand placement, stride length, rotation of the lower body and timing. Drills and stations that promote bat speed, lower body rotation, contact point, and pitch recognition.?
