Prior to Carson-Newman: As a two-way player for NOSU, he had 1,200 receiving yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions with six returned for scores.

Personal: The son of Fontella Mitchell, he's majoring in physical education at C-N. He was also recruited by Florida, Ole Miss, South Alabama and Kentucky.
