2013: Made one appearance against Brevard(9/21) and registered two tackles
High School: An offensive lineman in high school, he had the most pancake blocks on his team with more than 60. Helped lead the Trojans to a 2010 Florida 4a State Championship and 7A runners-up spot in 2012. Was a part of district championship teams in all four years of his high school career. He was elected permanent team captain his senior year and was named the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Offensive Lineman of the week once in 2011 and 2012.
Personal: The son of Clay and Tina Mason, plans to study political science at Carson-Newman. He graduated Magma Cum Laude and was a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. He also was named Junior Orange Bowl Committee Scholar Athlete of Florida 7A State Championship, Tallahassee Quarterback Club Amos P. Godby Scholar Athlete of the Year, US Marine Corps Great American Rivalry Series Scholar Athlete Award and the Lincoln Male Scholar Athlete of the Year...Also plays football at Carson-Newman...

HICKORY, N.C.— The Carson-Newman track and field team completed 2016’s South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a fourth-place showing from the men and a fifth-place finish from the women as day two witnessed three Eagles claim four individual conference championships in their respected events.
