2017 (Soccer): 2017: Fighting through an injury-plagued season, Talbut-Smith put together another impressive season for the Eagles racking up six goals and 10 assists on the year, third on the team in points with 22. She started 21 in the 22 games of which she played, missing just one on the 23-game schedule which included a trip to the National Championship. In back-to-back years, the Crawley, England native collected first-team All-SAC honors and Academic All-District honors. 2016 (Soccer): Played in all 22 games, making 21 starts...Completed the season third on the team in goals with eight..Also racked up nine assists, the third most in the South Atlantic Conference and tied for 28th nationally...Her 25 points were tied for fifth most in the SAC...Opened the season with scores in four of C-N's first five matches...Compiled 16 points in her team's first eight games...Netted the game-winning goal in the SAC Tournament final against Wingate on Nov. 6th, one of four game-winners she was credited with in 2016...Also got on the scoresheet against Trevecca Nazerene, Lees-McRae, Francis Marion, USC-Aiken, Mars Hill, King (Tenn.) and Catawba...Assisted on a pair of goals against Francis Marion on Sept. 10th...Added assists against Trevecca, Aiken, Newberry, Queens (N.C.), Anderson (S.C.), Catawba and Tusculum...Had four games in which she collected a goal and at least one assist.
