2018: Phillips appeared in 11 games and started in nine for Carson-Newman as a wide receiver. He led the Eagles in receiving in his junior year.  Phillips caught 17 passes for 331 yards.  He averaged 19.5 yards per catch and 30.1 yards per game.  He scored twice.  His top performance in terms of yardage came at Tusculum (10/27) when he snagged three passes for 74 yards and a career-long 57 yard touchdown catch against the Pioneers. He had his most receptions against Wingate (9/15) when he snared three passes for 66 yards.  Phillips caught at least one pass in every contest but the Newberry game. 

2017: Saw action as a reserve wide out in 10 games. He caught four passes for 36 yards and had a touchdown reception against Pikeville. 

2016: Saw action as a reserve wide receiver against Mars Hill (9/24) and Brevard (10/8).  

HIGH SCHOOL: Quinton Phillips is a wide receiver from Westside High School in Augusta, Ga. During his senior season with the Patriots, Phillips made 26 catches for 398 yards and seven touchdowns; he also ran for 106 yards on 16 carries. He was named first-team All-Region and second-team All-Area.

PERSONAL: Phillips is the son of Felicia Phillips and will study Accounting.
