2018: Battled through injuries early before appearing in the final seven games of the year for the Eagles as a reserve defensive lineman.  He had 11 tackles with 4.0 tackles for loss and a sack, plus a fumble recovery.  He registered three tackles against both Limestone (10/6) and at UNC Pembroke (11/10).  Against the Braves, he tallied 2.0 tackles for loss for his best mark of the year and recovered his fumble. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Davenport racked up a whopping 24 sacks and 56 tackles for loss during his senior year playing for Darren Myles at Carver High School.  Ponder led the entire state of Georgia in sacks his senior year.  He was named all-state, all-metro and all-region in addition to being named the defensive player of the year. 

PERSONAL: The son of Yolanda Ponder.  He wants to study toward being an engineer.  He was a member of the academic honor roll at Carver High School.
