Bio

2018:  Appeared in 11 games with two starts in his red-shirt sophomore season.  Talley finished the year with 15 tackles, a pass break up and a blocked kick. He tallied a four tackles in two road games against Newberry and UNC Pembroke.  He blocked his kick at home against Lenoir-Rhyne.   

2017: Did not appear in any games, medically redshirted.  

2016: Appeared in seven games as a reserve defensive back as a freshman. Talley made 22 tackles and picked off a pass against Newberry (10/15).  Talley registered a career high eight tackles against Wingate (10/22), he also blocked a kick against the Bulldogs. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Zach Talley is a safety from Byrnes High School in Duncan, S.C. With the Rebels, Talley registered 84 tackles, four interceptions 2.5 tackles for loss and four pass break-ups as a junior. He was a 4A All-Region selection in 2014 and a second-team defense honoree in 2015. He was coached by Brian Lane.

PERSONAL: Talley is the son of Tia and El Talley and will study Pre-Engineering. He is related to former NFL running back Gary Russell.
