2019: Appeared in all 12 games as a reserve offensive lineman.

2018: Appeared in the final eight games of the season as a backup offensive lineman for the Eagles. 

2017: Reserve offensive lineman who appeared in nine games for Carson-Newman as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: An all-region and all-conference selection at Jefferson County, he also wrestled, a sport for which he was at two-time state medalist and runner-up.  

PERSONAL: The son of Emily and Timmy Townsend.  He plans to study business at Carson-Newman. He was a four-year member of the honor roll at Jefferson County.
