2020: Kelly caught four passes for 60 yards, an average of 15 per catch, in Carson-Newman's 40-37 four-OT game at UVA Wise. 

2019: As a sophomore, Kelly started in all 12 games for Carson-Newman, his 17-catch, 363-yard season would have led the Eagles in receiving in six of the previous 11 seasons if not for Braxton Westfield's breakout sophomore campaign.  Kelly's best day came at Limestone (11/9) when he brought in three passes for 68 yards, including a game-saving 50-yard reception on Carson-Newman's game-winning drive.  He appeared on Sportscenter for a one-handed 52-yard catch against UNC Pembroke (10/5).  Kelly found the end zone once on the year, with a 29 yard TD catch against UVa-Wise (9/28).  

2018: As a freshman, Kelly was Carson-Newman's third-leading receiver, appearing in all 11 games with 10 starts.  He grabbed eight passes for 127 yardsand a score.  He caught his lone touchdown against Wingate (9/15) on a 33-yard catch, his long reception of the season.  His only game with multiple pass receptions was on Oct. 13 against Mars Hill.  He hauled in two completions for 29 yards.  Kelly averaged 15.9 yards per catch. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Kelly was a four-sport athlete for the Vikings where he also played basketball, baseball and was on the track team. For head coach Chris Miller, he recorded 1,803 total receiving yards on 130 catches with 47.7 receiving yards per game. He brought in 15 touchdowns in his career. Kelly won a state championship with the Vikings while also receiving honors from Maxpreps.

PERSONAL: The son of Bernard Kelly, he plans to study engineering at Mossy Creek.
