Bio

2021: Appeared in nine games on Carson-Newman's defensive line and made two starts.  Long notched 23 tackles witjh two stops for loss. He also had three quarterback hurries and a forced fumble.  Long topped out at six tackles on two occasions.  He had a sextet of stops at UVA Wise (9/25) and Newberry (10/23).  Long made 1.5 tackles for loss in the home finale against Limestone (11/6). 

2020: Did not appear in the UVA Wise game during Carson-Newman's spring season. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-sport athlete at Booker T. Washington, in addition to his work on the gridiron, he also competed in the wresting ring, in track and field and on the tennis court.  

PERSONAL: The son of Elicea Long, he plans to study nursing at Carson-Newman.  In high school, he was a member of the debate club, National Honor Society, Beta Club and the Student Government Association.
