2021: West finished the year with the second-best grade on the offensive line.  He had a winning grade (85 or above on Jay Guillermo's scale) in six of C-N's 10 contests. West graded out with 91s against Catawba and Limestone, two of the three highest grades of the year on C-N's offensive line.

2020: Did not appear in the UVA Wise game during Carson-Newman's spring season. 

2019: Appeared in two games as a reserve offensive lineman. 

2018: Did not appear in any games, redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Former high school teammates of All-SAC defensive lineman Brian Bembry, West played for Dave Marino at Palmetto High School. He was the offensive captain for the Tigers.  He also wrestled and ran track and field. 

PERSONAL: The son of Daniel West, he plans to study religion at Carson-Newman.  He is a member of the National Honor Society and won the Tiger Award for having the top GPA on the football team.
