Bio

2019: Appeared in 10 games for Carson-Newman as a reserve quarterback, wide receiver and special teams player.  he completed one of his two passes on the year for 22 yards.  Carried the ball 11 times for 41 yards and his first career score against  Catawba (10/12). Had a career best five carries for 28 yards that day.  

2018: Saw action in five games as a reserve wide out.  He caught one pass for nine yards against Marts Hill. 

2017: Saw action in 10 games as a reserve wide receiver.  Hauled in five passes for 34 yards, including a long reception of 11 yards. Had four of those catches for 24 yards against North Greenville. 

2016: Did not appear in any games. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Micah Young is a quarterback Byrnes High School in Duncan, S.C. Young is a two-time All-State player for the Rebels and he accumulated over 6,000 passing yards in his career. He was coached by Brian Lane.

PERSONAL: Young is the son of Beverly Glenn and will study Biology.
