2022: A reliable slot receiver, Simpson ranked second on the team with 13 catches and fourth in receiving yards with 134.  He caught two touchdowns on the season.  He found the end zone against both Limestone and UVA Wise.  Simpson wrapped up his career with a career-high 42 yards receiving and a career-long 27-yard catch.

2021: An ever-reliable slot receiver for C-N, Simpson appeared in 10 games with five starts for C-N.  He caught 10 passes for 98 yards.  His top game came at UVA Wise (9/25) when he snared three passes for 22 yards.  He had a career-high 35 yards receiving with a long of 20 yards with two passes caught against Lenoir-Rhyne (10/16).  

2020: Appeared in the game against UVA Wise, but did not register any stats. 

2019: Did not appear in any games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Simpson was a four-time all-region wide receiver at CAK.  He tallied 1,738 receiving yards on 153 catches with 12 touchdowns.  Simpson earned the Burlsworth Character Award as a senior. 

PERSONAL: The son of Jim and Christy Simpson, he plans to study business at Carson-Newman.  He is a member of the National Honor Society.  He carried the highest GPA on the CAK football team as a senior.
