Bio
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped the Grainger Grizzlies to their highest seed in the state playoffs in school history. Byrd was also named the football program's Iron Man Award winner.
PERSONAL: The son of Julie and Wesley Byrd, he plans to study exercise science at Carson-Newman. He is the real academic weapon of Grainger County.
