Bio

2024: Mason started all 12 games for C-N at defensive end.  He had 32 tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.  He also hurried the quarterback three times.  Mason had a career-best six-tackle day in the SAC title game against Wingate (Nov. 16).  he made a stop behind the line of scrimmage in the final four weeks of the year.  

2023: Mason made an impact as a freshman on C-N's defensive line.  He appeared in all 11 games for the Eagles with 19 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. His game strengthened as the season went along. He registered career highs for tackles in consecutive five-stop days against Emory & Henry (Oct. 28) and UVA Wise (Nov. 4).  He had 2.5 tackles for loss and two sacks against the Wasps.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Played football and wrestled at Ninety Six High School. He was a three-time state wrestling championg and an all-state and all-region football player.  

PERSONAL: The son of Angela Williams, he plans to study physical education at Carson-Newman.
