Bio

2024: Sandefer redshirted after appearing in three games. He was impactful in his limited time on the field, tallying four tackles, two behind the line of scrimmage and a sack. He also forced a fumble. He played in the final three weeks of the regular season. He had two tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble at Tusculum (Nov. 9).

HIGH SCHOOL: Sanderfer helped Boyd Buchanan to an undefeated regular season and the state title game. He was a three-time all-region and all-state selection. Sanderfer accounted for 4.5 sacks defensively and 15 touchdowns offensively.

PERSONAL: The son of Henrietta Siler and Dejuan Sanderfer, Jaylon was also recruited by Memphis, Austin Peay and Samford.
