2025: Ferguson was third on the team in all-purpose yardage in 2025.  He amassed 500 yards, 159 on the ground, 91 through the air and 250 on kick returns.  Ferguson found the end zone twice, both times catching passes. He snagged a nine-yard TD against West Virginia State and had a 32-yarder against UVA Wise.  His long reception was 37 yards against Catawba. On the ground, he topped out at 63 yards rushing on eight carries at Newberry.

  • CSC Academic All-District

2024: Ferguson started all 12 games at slot back for C-N. He rushed for 394 yards and three touchdowns while catching six passes for 117 yards and two scores. Ferguson also returned eight kicks for 247 yards.  He averaged 30.9 yards per kick return and had a 92-yard KOR for a touchdown at West Virginia State, for which he was named the SAC's Special Teams Player of the Week.  Ferguson brought back his second kick of the game, the first of the second quarter, back 92 yards for a house call, giving C-N its 39th all-time kickoff return for a touchdown. All told, Ferguson returned two kicks for 102 yards and the score.  Offensively, he ran the ball 12 times for 88 yards and another touchdown. The State game and a game at Catawba (Sept. 28) were the two contests on the year where he rushed for at least 80 yards.  He also caught a 53-yard touchdown pass against the Indians.  Ferguson had more than 100 all-purpose yards against the Yellowjackets, Indians and at Mars Hill (Oct. 12).

2023: Carson-Newman's leading rusher in 2023, Ferguson carried the ball 87 times for 418 yards and a score.  He averaged 38.0 yards per game and 4.8 yards per carry.  Ferguson found the end zone against Lenoir-Rhyne (Sep. 23).  His top game on the ground came at Newberry (Sep. 30) when he rushed eight times for 86 yards. Included in that was a 65-yard rush that set up C-N's go-ahead score in the Eagles' first win at Newberry in 13 years.  Ferguson also caught five passes for 35 yards with a long reception of 17 yards.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Ferguson attended Rockmart High School, where he played football, basketball and track competitively. As a senior, he started every game and led the team in rushing yards, accumulating 862 yards and 12 touchdowns on 92 carries. His performance earned him recognition as a GACA All-State Recruit and Georgia All-State Honorable Mention, as well as being selected as First Team All-Region RB in 7AA. Throughout his high school career, his team achieved success, winning the Region Championship four times and making four playoff appearances, reaching the Elite 8 in his senior year.

PERSONAL:The son of Brittany & Lazarius Peek and Derek Darden, Ferguson plans to major in accounting in college. He was a member of the National Honors Society in high school.
