2025: Johnson appeared in a pair of games at quarterback for the Eagles. He ran the ball once for no gain at Wingate (Sept. 27). 

2024: Johnson was thrust into a starting role after injuries decimated C-N's quarterback room.  He appeared in six games with three starts. Johnson completed 11 of 20 passes for 190 yards and a 73-yard score.  He rushed 35 times for 110 yards and a touchdown.  Johnson's most productive day came against Anderson (Nov. 2) when he ran the ball 12 times for 56 yards and hit on 3-of-6 passes for 100 yards, including a 73-yarder to Jeremiah Carroll.  He found the end zone on the ground against Tusculum (Nov. 9).  

HIGH SCHOOL: Johnson tallied 5,200 yards passing and more than 1,200 yards rushing at Central Gwinnett.  He had 50 touchdowns through the air and on the ground combined en route to earning all-county and all-region honors.  He led his team in both passing and rushing. 

PERSONAL: The son of Yolanda & Terry Johnson, he plans to study nursing at Carson-Newman. He was a member of the National Beta Club in high school.
