2025: McCoy appeared in four games.  His lone tackle on the year was a sack against UVA Wise (Oct. 25).  

2024: McCoy appeared in five games, making two tackles on special teams.  

2023: Appeared in eight games, primarily on special teams for C-N. Did not register any statistics. 

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Did not appear in any games while at Kennesaw State. 

HIGH SCHOOL:McCoy played track, football, soccer, and wrestling and Irwin County.  In football, he played as a linebacker and notched 100 tackles, 31 assists, 9 sacks and 3 kick blocks. McCoy received numerous athletic honors including being named Region 2A Defensive Player of the Year, Recruit GA 1st Team Linebacker, AJC All State Linebacker, GACA Defensive Player of the Year, and receiving the Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year and Rock Solid Award. He was part of the team that reached the state finals four times and was a two-time state champion.

PERSONAL: The son of Michaelree Hamilton. He plans to study business management at Carson-Newman.
