Bio

2025: Colgate transfer Rich Mellien led C-N in interceptions.  He picked off three passes on the year and broke up another three.  Mellien had 32 tackles on the year to go along with three tackles for loss and a sack.  He started all 10 games for C-N at safety.

2024: Did not appear in any games, redshirted. 

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN:

2023: Had a dozen tackles with eight solo stops and a pass-break-up. Saw action against Syracuse, Villanova, Penn, Holy Cross, Dartmouth, Bucknell and Fordham. Finished the season strongly with five solo tackles and two assists along with a pass break-up against Fordham (Nov. 18). Solo tackles against Syracuse (Sept. 2), Penn (Sept. 16) and Bucknell (Oct. 28) and added an assist versus Bucknell.

HIGH SCHOOL: He made 63 tackles and 10 tackles for loss and four sacks en route to all-area honors and a state title.
