HIGH SCHOOL: Shaffer tallied 1,741 rushing yars and 19 touchdowns at Tellico Plains for his career. He helped the Bears to their first county championship since 2009 and TPHS first winning season since 2013.
PERSONAL: The son of Amanda and Neil Shaffer, he is studying exercise science at Carson-Newman.
