2015-16: All-BMC honoree in the 100 Back after finishing sixth at the BMC Championships... Registered eight wins during his debut season with four wins coming in the 100 Back against Bellarmine, King, Limestone and the University of the Cumberlands... Finished in the top-eight twice at the BMC Championships... Owned the team's fastest time of the season in the 100 Back.

High School: Joins the Carson-Newman swim team by way of Midway High School but swims with nearby Oak Ridge High School. Qualified for sectionals and the NCSA Junior Nationals in the 100 Back and 50 Free.

Personal: Son of Sarah Hughes... Great aunt, Rhonda Shields, played basketball for Carson-Newman in 1978-79.
