Bio
2023-2024: Poole hit a season best in the 500-yard freestyle (4:56.26) placing 2nd at home against Lees-McRae. In the match at Berry College, Poole secured two top-3 finishes in the 500-yard freestyle (5:13.96) and the 100-yard freestyle (11:09.30). Poole rounded out the season with a seson best performance in the 400-yard IM in 4:14.43 at the SAC Swimming Championships.
2022-2023: Poole swam a personal best time and placed 11th in the 1000-yard freestyle (9:48.78) at the SAC Swimming Championships. He finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle against Georgia Tech in 4:50.93. Poole had nine top-5 finishes on the season and recorded two personal best times.
2021-2022: Poole started the season placing 4th in the 400-yard IM at the King Early Season Invite. He finished top-five in both the 200-yard fly and 500-yard freestyle against Milligan. Poole went on to finish 6th in the 200-yard freestyle against Tennessee with a time of 1:47.82.
High School: Poole was able to qualify for the USA Sectionals. At the AHSSA state championships, he was part of the first-place 4x100 freestyle relay team while gathering individual top-five finishes in the 500 freestyle (3rd) and 200 freestyle (5th). As part of the Pelican swimming team, Poole helped lead the team to become AHSAA state championship runner-ups three years in a row. His club team has either received a USA Swimming silver or bronze medal for many years.
