Bio
Mathieson is a first-year graduate student from Aberdeen, Scotland, who earned her degree in business administration from LMU where she played four years of collegiate golf.
As a player for LMU from 2021-2025, Mathieson was a key contributor to one of the most successful stretches in LMU women's golf history. She helped lead her team to multiple tournament victories, including the SAC Preview, Battle for Royalty, and the St. Simons and Music City Invitationals. Her individual accolades include a SAC Golfer of the Week nod, Juice Spot Player of the Week recognition, and a Third Team All-SAC selection in Spring 2024. The team reached its highest national ranking in program history at No. 22 in October 2024. SAC All-Conference nods. Mathieson was a key contributor in the LMU Women's Golf lineup when she joined the team in her freshman season. Her senior season included two Top 20 finishes on the year, most notably a fourth-place finish this past October at the Ralph Hayes Toyota DII Elite Invitational with scores of 73-72-69 (-2). She posted a 75.3 adjusted scoring average on the year, helping the Lady Railsplitters to six top-five team finishes and a third place finish at the SAC Championship.
Academically, Mathieson carried a 3.9 GPA while majoring in Business Administration. She earned consistent academic accolades throughout her collegiate career, including membership in Delta Mu Delta (International Academic Honors Society) and Chi Alpha Sigma (National College Athlete Honor Society), and has made the Dean's List every semester. Mathieson was also a WGCA All-America Scholar and contributed to a team GPA that ranked LMU 25th nationally in Division II.
Beyond her athletic and academic achievements, Mathieson exemplified leadership and a commitment to service. She served as a team leader and participated in a wide range of community initiatives, including volunteering at LMU basketball concessions, working with underprivileged children through ROHO, maintaining local golf courses, assisting at the Women of Service Christmas Fayre and Fashion Show, and supporting local animal shelters.
