KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The South Atlantic Conference’s regular season and tournament champions Carson-Newman Eagles finished the season ranked 11th in the nation in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll released on Tuesday after finishing the season 19-3.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The 13th-ranked Carson-Newman women’s soccer team is appearing in its first NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship Southeast Regional Championship since 2009 and when the Eagles step foot on McCown Field for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on Friday afternoon, C-N’s most-frequent postseason opponent will be warming up on the other side of the field.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – The 14th-ranked Carson-Newman women’s soccer team (18-2) completed the South Atlantic Conference sweep with a 1-0 win over the two-time defending champions Wingate Bulldogs (15-2-2) in the SAC Championship final Sunday night at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.

Trojans (14-3-1) as the Eagles and Trojans are set up for a SAC Tournament semifinal at 5 p.m. at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C. as the Eagles appear in their first semifinal match since 2009.
