ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Carson-Newman junior midfielder Lauren Wade (Coleraine, Northern Ireland) was named the Southeast Region Player of the Year by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association on Wednesday.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Following a win over Anderson (S.C.) in the South Altantic Conference semifinals, the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team is one win away from their second consecutive SAC title. The final obstacle remaining in the Eagles quest to repeat is the Wingate Bulldogs and these teams will collide in the SAC Tournament final on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Jacqueline Burns broke the SAC record for clean sheets in a season with her 13th this year and the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team erased the Anderson (S.C.) Trojans, 5-0, in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament semifinals at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.

Trojans in the semifinals in Rock Hill, S.C. on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – After a regular season in which she led the SAC in goals and points and tied for second in assists, Lauren Wade (Coleraine, Northern Ireland) has been named the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year. Wade is also one of a Carson-Newman record ten players to be chosen for the league’s all-conference teams.
