Bio
2018: Played in 19 games with 14 starts for the Eagles in her junior year, recording a goal and four assists. Hallgrimsdottir lent a helping hand twice against Coker with a pair of assists in a 7-0 route on Sept. 22. Registered 16 shots on the year, with five shots on goal. Scored a penalty kick goal against Mars Hill on Oct. 17.
2017: Hallgrimsdottir returned to C-N's lineup as a sophomore starting in all 23 games on the campaign recording five goals and five assists. The Iceland native earned her first-career SAC Player of the Week honors on Oct. 16 after scoring the lone goal on an indirect kick in the Eagles 1-0 victory over No. 25 Wingate at McCown Field on Oct. 14. One of the best goals of the season for C-N came off the foot of the sophomore who collected an Olympico in a 5-2 win over Lincoln Memorial Oct. 4 at McCown Field, a game in which she also added two assists. She was fifth on the team in total points and tied for third with three game-winning goals during the year. She was a second-team preseason All-Conference selection.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The 14th ranked and second-seeded Carson-Newman Eagles fell to the sixth-seeded Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters 5-3 in penalty kicks on Sunday night in the NCAA Southeast Region semifinal match from McCown Field.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – No. 16 ranked and top-seeded Carson-Newman topped fifth-seeded Catawba for the second time in less than a week as the Eagles were powered to a 2-1 win behind Magda Mosengo in the South Atlantic Conference semifinal from Manchester Meadows. The Eagles will head to their fourth-consecutive league championship match.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – No. 20 Carson-Newman Women’s Soccer scored four unanswered goals in the final 45 to push the Eagles to their 12th-straight win over Mars Hill by a 4-1 final on Wednesday afternoon at McCown Field. Three of the four would come within a span of 3:23
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – No. 12 ranked Carson-Newman bounced back into the win column on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 victory over Anderson at McCown Field, handing the Trojans their first South Atlantic Conference loss of 2018.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – No. 21 Carson-Newman had a coming out party in a return to McCown Field for just the second time this season. The Eagles have claimed back-to-back 7-0 wins at home after topping conference foe Coker on Saturday afternoon. The other club included on the boat was Lees-McRae back on Sept. 5.
HICKORY, N.C. – It was just over a year ago when Lenoir-Rhyne tallied a late goal to draw Carson-Newman on their home turf, the only blemish on the team’s record through 22 games. The Eagles held on in the first conference game of the season, beating L-R by a final of 1-0 at Bears Field.
