Bio
2019: Earned All-South Atlantic Conference Honorable Mention honors in her freshman season. She started in all but one of her 17 match appearances. Scored a single goal on the season with three assists for five points. Sent the fourth-most shots out for C-N on the season with 30, 14 of those landing on frame.
High School: Helped her team to an appearance in the state title game while leading her team in goals and assists her senior season. Was named to the Tennessee Division-II All-State team her junior and season seasons, as well as being named an all-district and region player all four years of high school.

Coming off of another double-digit win season for Carson-Newman women’s soccer, head coach Simon Duffy has announced six new Eagles that will join the flock for the upcoming 2020 season.
Five players from Carson-Newman women’s soccer were awarded All-South Atlantic Conference honors, the league office announced Wednesday.
An own goal off the boot of a Carson-Newman player proved to be the difference-maker in a quarterfinals match of the SAC tournament as the Queens Royals defeated the Eagles by a final of 2-1 at McCown Field Saturday night.
Junior forward Emilee Futrell (Wilson, N.C.)’s steal and score in the 95th minute lifted the Carson-Newman Eagles past the rival Tusculum Pioneers by a 3-2 final Wednesday evening at Pioneer Field.
A trio of goals scored, a mark reached for the fourth time this season, lifted the Carson-Newman Eagles past the Coker Cobras on the road Saturday at Coker Athletic Field by a final of 3-1.
It was a tough beginning to the 2019 for Carson-Newman, as the Eagles fell to Bellarmine by a 1-0 final.
Senior midfielder Lara Hallgrimsdottir leads a midfield unit that coach Simon Duffy described as an “exciting group” heading into the 2019 campaign. Hallgrimsdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland) earned a preseason All-Conference Second-Team nod after racking up 1126 minutes across 18 contests for the Eagles. She scored one goal and four assists in her junior season while also serving as a corner specialist for C-N, crossing the ball into the box 36 times.
