Bio

2020: Carson-Newman's primary flex player and centerfielder, Seay appeared in 15 games with starts in 10.  She scored two runs on the year and played error free in the outfield with one assist in 11 total chances.  She was 0-for-3 at the plate. 

2019: Seay started all but three games for Carson-Newman at either third or second base.  A frequent flex player, Seay was 12-for-61 at the plate with five doubles, a triple and an inside the park home run against Converse (2/9).  Seay tallied the first multi-hit efforts of her career against the Valkyries and again six days later against Claflin (2/16).  She had two multi-RBI efforts, tallying those against Georgia College (2/2) and Converse.  

2018: Seay appeared in 30 games and started in 17 for the Eagles. She had three hits in 14 at bats and scored seven runs as a pinch-runner.  She tallied a stolen base on the year.  

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-sport athlete for the East Robertson Indians, Seay also played basketball.  She was named district MVP and the Robertson County Pitcher of the Year as a junior.  She has helped ERHS to a pair of district titles and a region championship as a junior. 

PERSONAL: The daughter of Pam and Tony Seay, she plans to study animal science.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club at ERHS.

WISE, Va. – Facing off against 30-mile per hour wind gusts and a scrappy UVA Wise (6-13-1, 3-7 South Atlantic Conference), Carson-Newman (13-3, 8-2 SAC) broke out the big bats once the winds died down to split with its foe from Virginia Tuesday afternoon at Cavalier Field.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Macey Hughes (Knoxville, Tenn.) capped a frenetic rally with a single through the left side of the infield to finish a five-run bottom of the seventh and help Carson-Newman (1-1) salvage a doubleheader split with King (1-1) on opening day at the Vickee Kazee-Hollifield Softball Complex.
