Bio
2022-2023: Blakemore became a two-time individual All-American at the 2023 NCAA DII Swimming and Diving Championships with her fourth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (54.40) and third-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke (1:58.18). She recorded new personal bests in both events. Blakemore was also part of the All-American 400-yard medley relay team with Breanna Belcher, Kennadi King, and Manon Compagner. The quartet earned a bronze medal with a finals time of 3:41.57. Blakemore swam a leg of the 200-yard medley relay where the Eagles placed 10th in 1:42.38 to earn Honorable Mention All-American honors. During the South Atlantic Conference Championships, Blakemore took home a gold medal in the 100 back in 54.90. She placed second in the 200 back (1:59.66) and 100 fly (56.09). Against Georgia Tech, Blakemore won the 200 back in 2:00.91 and placed fourth in the 200-yard butterfly in a personal best time of 2:07.54. Blakemore earned nine first-place finishes throughout the course of the season.
2021-2022: Blackemore placed 3rd at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships and was part of the NCAA National team. She recieved All-American honors for the 200-yard and 400-yard IM relays. She holds the fifth fastest time in the 200-yard backstroke for the Eagles at 2:03.02.
2020-2021: In her season debut against Milligan, Blakemore won the women's 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.37 and the women's 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:07.84.. Highest C-N finisher in the women's 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.72 against Wingate.. Finished top-20 in the women's 100-yard butterfly (59.55), 100-yard backstroke (58.37), women's 200-yard butterfly (2:19.41), and the women's 200-yard backstroke (2:08.83) at the 2021 Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships.

Personal: Daughter of Dave and Melanie Blakemore. Intends to major in Business Management at Carson-Newman. Mom, Melanie, swam provincially for KwaZulu-Natal between 1985 -1988.
