Chrisman Rand

Bio

2022-2023: During the South Atlantic Conference Championships, Rand had eight season best and four personal best performances. She placed fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke finals (1:05.11) and 200-yard IM (2:06.93). Against Georgia Tech, Rand took silver in the 200-yard IM in 2:10.99, and she set a new personal recordin the 50-yard backstroke in 27.80. Rand competed with teammates Kennadi King, Lily Parr, and Manon Compagner in the 200-yard freestyle relay at the Tennessee Invitational and qualified for national competition based off their time of 1:33.28. Rand ended the season with 13 top-5 performances.

2021-2022: Rand recorded a personal best in the 100-yard freestyle in the Tennessee Invitational with a time of 52.70 and 50-yard freestyle at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships with a time of 23.74. She finished in the top-10 against Wingate in the 100-yard breaststroke, and bested herself by placing 12th in the same event at the Emory Invitational with a time of 1:07.35. She took home 1st against Emory & Henry in the 50-yard freestyle. 

2020-2021: Made her C-N debut against Wingate.. Finished fifth in the women's 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.60), sixth in the women's 200-yard butterfly (2:14.59), and third in the women's 100-yard butterfly (57.68) against the Bulldogs.. Won her first individual event in Jefferson City as she came away with a time of 58.04 against Mars Hill in the women's 100-yard butterfly.. Gathered a pair of second-place finishes against Emmanuel (Ga.) in the women's 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.88) and 100-yard freestyle (54.12).. Made her Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships debut with a third-place finish in the women's 50-yard freestyle (23.74), a seventh-place finish in the women's 100-yard butterfly (56.97), sixth in the women's 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.81), and ninth in the women's 200-yard breaststroke (2:24.47). 

High School: 2019 Team Captain, 2019 MVP. 2019 Girls State Champions. 2018 100 Fly 2nd Place, 2018 100 Free 2nd Place, 2019 100 Breast 3rd Place, 2019 50 Free 2nd Place.

Personal: Daughter of Mamie and John Rand. Intends to major in Business at Carson-Newman.
