2023-2024: Covington ended last year with two fourth place finishes in the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.29) and the 100-yard backstroke (57.12). In the meet at Berry College, Covington won gold in the 100-yard backstroke in 56.96 and fourth in the 200-yard IM 2:16.28. She earned a second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke in the meet at IRSC. Covington earned gold in the 100-yard backstroke in 57.50 against Mars Hill and silver in 59.13 against Lees-McRae. Covington capped off the season with 12 personal best times and 12 top-5 finishes on the season.

High School: Covington swam for the Jaguars at Madison Central High School. She was coached by Eddie Ware. Aside from swimming, Covington was involved with FCA. 

Personal: Daughter of Robin and Mike Covington. Intends to major in nursing at Carson-Newman.
