INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Carson-Newman volleyball alumnae Rachel Harper (Chattanooga, Tenn.) has received a nomination for the NCAA’s Woman of the Year.

LEXINGTON Ky. – Senior middle blocker Jenna Wilson (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) became the first All-American in Carson-Newman volleyball history Wednesday afternoon as the AVCA announced their All-American teams with Wilson being placed on the Honorable Mention group.

WINGATE, N.C. – Senior outside hitter Rachel Harper (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and sophomore libero Taylor Lowe (Franklin, Tenn.) were named to the Southeast Region All-Tournament Team Saturday evening.
WINGATE, N.C. – The sixth-seeded Carson-Newman Eagles (27-7) lost 21-25, 22-25 and 14-25 to the No. 2 seed Armstrong Pirates (30-2) in the Southeast Region semifinal Friday evening at Cuddy Arena. It marks the third time in program history that the Eagles have made it to the Regional semifinals as one of the top 32 teams in the nation.
WINGATE, N.C. – The sixth-seeded Carson-Newman Eagles (27-6) earned their first sweep in NCAA play in program history defeating the No. 3 seed USC Aiken Pacer (21-9) 26-24, 29-27 and 25-23 Thursday afternoon at Cuddy Arena in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
