Bio
HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior at Southwest Miami Senior High School, Fernandez was named the team's most valuable player after being named All-Dade county for four straight seasons from 2013-16. She posted 14 digs per match and led the team in aces with just under five per outing. After finishing as the district runner up in 2015, the Eagles won the district in 2016. Fernandez is a member of the National Honor Society ranking in the top 10 percent in her graduating class.
