Bio
2021 (Freshman): Played in her first-career match, her lone outing of the year, in a sweep of UVA Wise on Sept. 25 handing out two assists and picking up one dig. In the spring, represented the United States at the 2021 Deaflympics in Brazil.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letter winner at Smoky Mountain High School and a two-time Mountain Six All-Conference Selection. Gamble was a Top WNC Player to Watch in 2020, along with being named the 2020 Mountain Six Conference Defensive Player of the Year. As a two-year captain, Gamble led the team to the first round of the playoffs twice. As a senior, she led the conference in service aces and piled up over 1,600 assists for her career. Academically, she is a member of the National Honors Society with a 4.4 GPA gradutating in the top five percent of her class. She is a member of the National USA Deaf Women's Volleyball Team.
Two cousins play collegiate sports. Mackenzie Gamble is a basketball player at Washburn and Luke Staten is on Toledo's football team.
