Kara Brantley

Bio

2025 (Junior): Brantley was a serving specialist for the Eagles throughout the year, appearing in 11 matches and 23 sets. The junior served 66 times throughout the season and was responsible for 8 aces. Three of those aces came in the conference opener against Wise on September 9 where she also recorded three digs. She was also a perfect 4-4 in her receptions this season, and made 10 digs in her appearances. Brantley played one set in the NCAA Tournament against Flagler with a service attempt.

2024 (Sophomore): Played in 15 sets across four matches. Logged her first collegiate digs in back-to-back games on Nov. 15 against Anderson (S.C.) and Nov. 19 against Mars Hill...Also notched two service aces against Limestone on Nov. 12.

2023 (Freshman): Appeared in just one match, playing all three sets against Bemidji State on Sept. 2, where she recorded four kills on six attacks. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Knoxville, Tennessee native Brantley joins the program after a noteworthy high school career. At West High School, she accumulated over 1,000 career digs piling on one MVP, four all-tournament, two defensive player of the year, and one rookie of the year merits. In 2021 she helped the Rebels find their District Championship title. Academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society.
