Josie Moody

Bio

PRIOR TO C-N: Moody was a four sport athlete in high school, playing volleyball, basketball, flag football, and tennis. In her time at Clinton High School she racked up over 1000 kills, over 1700 assists, and over 1200 digs while running a 98% serve percentage; that mark garnered her District Server of the Year in 2025. For her efforts, she was recognized as the team MVP all four years of high school in volleyball and made the District All-Tournament team and the Region All-Tournament team three times. In her senior season, she also received the coaches' award. With her help, Clinton High School was District Champions three times and won the District Tournament twice.

Her basketball career was more of the same, making the All District team all four years and All District Tournament Team three different times. Each year with the Dragons she received different accolades including the Coach's Heart Award, Coach's Triple Threat Award, the Stat Leader Award, the Coach's Backbone Award and was the District Tournament MVP in her senior season. The Dragons were District Champions and District Tournament Champions two times while she was playing. In her time on the tennis team, she was named team MVP in her sophomore, junior, and senior years. She was also an All-Region selection for flag football in 2026.

PERSONAL: Josie is the daughter of Karrie Moody, who played basketball at Roane State Community College. Academically, Josie won her team's Academic Award four times and was a member of both the National Honor Society and Student Government.
