2025 Outdoor First Team All-American (Long Jump)
2025: Indoor - McCarty started the year strong, standing on the top of the podium, winning the long jump at the VMI Team Challenge and the VMU Invitational. She added another victory at the Virginia Tech Challenge in the long jump. McCarty closed out the indoor season by winning the long jump at the SAC Indoor Track and Field Championship with a 5.84m jump.
Outdoor - She picked up where she left off from the indoor season, claiming victory in her first event at the Lee University Invitational in the long jump, 5.88m. She also won the App State Open, 6.08m, and set her PR at the SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, jumping 6.14m to take gold. Before heading to Nationals, she won the long jump at the LR Last Chance Meet. At the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, she finished in seventh, with a 6.05m jump, earning First Team All-American honors.
2024: Indoor - Finished third at the SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in the long jump, earning a distance of 5.63m.
Outdoor - McCarty began the outdoor season with back-to-back long jump silver finishes at the LR Bears Open and Montreat College Open. Placed second in the SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the long jump with a distance of 5.85m. Won the LR Last Chance Meet in the long jump with a distance of 5.96m.
2023: Indoor - Ran a personal best in the 60-meter dash at the Bast Cregger-Multi Invitational in 8.01. McCarty placed sixth in the women's long jump at the DII Indoor Track & Field Pre-Nationals (5.56 m) and seventh at the 2023 SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships (5.36 m).
Outdoor - McCarty won gold in the women's long jump at the Trojan Opener with a 5.75-meter leap. Grabbed a personal record in the 100 dash at the Montreat College Open in 12.89. McCarty grabbed eight top-5 finishes on the season and grabbed a personal best in the women's long jump at the LR Bears Open to finish third with a 6.05-meter mark. She placed third in the event at SAC Championships with a 5.85-meter leap. McCarty attended the 2023 NCAA DII Outdoor T&F Championships and finished 11th in the nation in the long jump with a 5.92-meter leap.
2022: Indoor - McCarty grabbed four top-10 finishes on the indoor season. She placed fourth in the women's long jump at the 2022 SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a 5.36-meter leap.
Outdoor - Recorded a personal best in the women's triple jump during the Lee Invitational with a 10.71-meter mark. McCarty finished the season with six top-5 finishes during the season. She placed third in the women's long jump during the 2022 SAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a 5.57-meter mark. Contributed to a fifth-place finish in the women's 4x100-meter relay at SAC Championships (47.76).
High School – Recorded three top 10 state finishes in the long jump, finishing as the region runner-up in 2019. Recorded three top 10 state finishes in the triple jump. Recorded two top eight state finishes in the pentathlon, including winning the region championship in 2019. Was named All-State in track in 2018 and 2019. Also played basketball and volleyball for the Highlanders
