NEW ORLEANS—Carson-Newman cross country runners Sara Honaker (Mason, Ohio) and Hannah Green (Talbott, Tenn.) received All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the 2015 season.
The Eagles concluded their 2015 cross country slate with a respectable showing in the Southeastern Regional Meet on Saturday morning in Wingate, N.C., as the men finished with an 18th place showing and the women finished in 12th place overall in the 10 and eight-kilometer runs.

The Carson-Newman cross country team wrapped up its regular season schedule by placing two runners in the top-20 individual standings on its way to a women’s fifth and men’s sixth place finish at the Fast Cats Classic in Owensboro, K.Y. on Saturday.
