2025 (Freshman): Smith made 27 starts as a rookie, 23 of which came in left field, one in center and three in right field. He recorded 92 at bats, tallying 26 hits and driving in 15 runs to hit .283 at the dish. He recorded his first career hit in his first career at bat, continuing a six-run first inning to start the season. Smith had five multi-hit and four multi-RBI days, with his most hits in a game coming against UVA Wise at the SAC Tournament on May 3rd. The Cleveland native was great on the road, posting a .324 batting average in 34 at bats. In early April, Smith drove in a run in four straight starts, including an entire series against Coker.
