Time set for Eagles opening round NCAA Tournament game with LMU
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman’s men’s basketball team will take on second-seeded Lincoln Memorial Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament from USC-Aiken’s Convocation Center.

The Eagles are making their first NCAA tournament appearance since 2001-02. Lincoln Memorial won the SAC tournament and regular season championships and can boast of the league's coach of the year in Josh Schertz and player of the year in Vinny Bailey.
