Bio

2025-26: The Eagles point guard is averaging 14.7 points per game.  He has done so while shooting 44.9 percent from the field and 41.4 percent from three. Bilbrey has canned 67 triples this season – the 24th most in a season in school history. He ranks seventh in career three-point percentage in school history at 41.7 percent.  Bilbrey has knocked down multiple threes per game in 18 contests.  He has drained five against Coker (Dec. 6), Tennessee Wesleyan (Dec. 31) and at Emory & Henry (Jan. 7). The sophomore has dished out 3.8 assists per game. He has led C-N in assists 15 times this season. He has 11, five-assist games this year, including a pair of career-best eight-dime days against Newberry (Jan. 17) and at North Georgia (Nov. 26). Bilbrey has scored in double-digits in a career-best six-game stretch entering the conference tournament.  He has scored 10 or more points in all but four of C-N's games this year.  He has a septet of 20-point nice this year, including a career-best 23 at Emory & Henry (Jan. 7). Bilbrey swiped a career-high five steals at Coker (Dec. 6).

2024-25: Bilbrey turned in a quality red-shirt freshman campaign, shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 43.2 percent from three while averaging 4.1 points per game. He also snagged 1.2 rebounds per game and handed out 1.4 assists per game.  Bilbrey appeared in all 33 games for the Eagles.  Bilbrey turned in a trio of double-digit scoring efforts against Coker (Jan. 4), UVA Wise (Jan. 15) and at Lincoln Memorial (Feb. 26).  He topped out at 15 points against the Cavs. His best rebounding effort came with five boards against King (Nov. 9) and he handed out a season-best five assists against Wingate (Nov. 18).

HIGH SCHOOL: Bilbrey played basketball at Stone Memorial High School for coach Neil Capps. In his senior year, he became a member of the 1,000 point club and averaged 18.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. He shot 49.6 perent from beyond the arc and 55.6 percent from the field. Bilbrey was named the District 7 AAA MVP for the 2022-2023 season and earned numerous other accolades, including All-Region Tournament Team and All-District Tournament Team honors.

PERSONAL: The son of Cindy and Dave Bilbrey, he plans to study accounting at Carson-Newman. Bilbrey was a member of the Key Club in high school and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
