Bio

2025-26: Frye has been a star turned as a defensive stopper in his senior season for C-N.  Frye's 52 steals this season are fifth in the SAC and rank ninth for a single season in school history. Frye has been on another level in the month of February, registering at least three steals in five straight games.  Frye has 272 points in his Eagle career and 28 dunks this season.  His 28 jams are the second most in a single season to Josh Murray's 37 in 2017-18.  He is one of five players in the NCAA era of Carson-Newman men's basketball with 30 career dunks.

2024-25: Frye appeared in 12 games off the bench for C-N, averaging 2.8 points per game to go with 1.4 rebounds per game. Frye shot 51.9 percent from the field and knocked down 6-of-11 free throws. He scored in double-digits against Johnson & Wales (Nov. 12) with a 12-point effort on 5-of-9 shooting.

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Frye averaged 11.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game at Trinidad State while shooting 54.6 percent from the field.  He was a second-team all-conference pick for the Trojans.  Frye topped out at 26 points against Dodge City Community College.

HIGH SCHOOL: Frye helped Woodward to a pair of region tournament titles and a regular season conference championship.  He stuffed the stat sheet with 8.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.7 blocks and 3.8 steals per game.  He was a first-team all-conference selection for the Bulldogs.

PERSONAL: The son of Andrea Frye, he plans to study psychology at Carson-Newman.
