PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN (Austin Peay): 

2020-2021: Appeared in three games, including one start against Pittsburgh (Sept. 12).

2019: Appeared in all 15 games, ending season with 10 receptions for 163 yards and a touchdown. His lone reception against Jacksonville State, Sept. 28, was a 48-yard catch-and-carry for a touchdown. He ended the season with three catches for 33 yards in an FCS Playoff Quarterfinal contest at Montana State.

2018: Hit the field for all 11 games, starting 10… finished the year with eight receptions for 62 yards… had season-bests in receptions (3) and yards (26) against Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 3)… the following weekend, caught his first-career touchdown – a six-yard strike – against Eastern Illinois.

2017: Appeared in all 12 games, starting five contests… finished third on the team in receptions (13) and receiving yards (177)… caught four passes for 48 yards at Tennessee State (Oct. 14)… recorded a season-long reception of 25 yards against Southeast Missouri (Oct. 21).

2016: Redshirted

High School: Ranked 78th in the state of Tennessee by 247sports.com and Rivals… participated in 2016 Tennessee vs. Kentucky Border Bowl… caught 28 passes for 368 yards and four touchdowns as a senior, earning first-team all-region… track standout was all-state 200m runner as a junior and member of 4x100m relay all-state quartet as a senior.

Personal: Son of Teresa Soumare… has one sibling, Binetou… born April 5... majoring in finance.
