Bio
2022: Mr. Carson-Newman – the All-American discus thrower wraps up his Carson-Newman career with second-team All-Mountain Division honors. The pass rush specialist finished the year with 18 tackles, half of which were for loss. He also had 7.5 tackles for loss. Jureidini-Wyche had two games with multiple tackles for loss. He had three against Emory & Henry (10/29) and two against UVA Wise (11/5). Those tackles for loss against the Wasps and Cavaliers were also sacks. He became the first non-kicker/punter/return specialist to win the league's special teams player of the week honor since 2015 and the path to the hardware was pretty much identical. Justin Long won the award en route to national special teams player of the week honors on Oct. 19, 2015 for blocking two kicks. Jureidini-Wyche blocked two Erskine punts en route to helping the Eagles throttle the Flying Fleet 37-0 Saturday night. Jureidini-Wyche and Long are the only two players in school history to both block two kicks in a single game in school history. Long did he feat in a homecoming win over Newberry. The pass-rush specialist wraps up his Carson-Newman career tied for sixth all-time with 19 career sacks. His 29 career tackles for loss are the 12th most all-time.

2021: Carson-Newman's primary back-up pass-rush, fox end. Jureidini-Wyche appeared in nine of the Eagles' games and made 29 tackles. He had six tackles for loss and two sacks. He topped out at six tackles at Barton (10/2) and also had a tackle for loss against the Bulldogs. He had multiple stops behind the line of scrimmage against Lenoir-Rhyne (10/16).
2020: Caused a late-game game fumble against UVA Wise that C-N recovered en route to a double-digit fourth-quarter comeback. Jureidini-Wyche also had a pass break up and four solo tackles.
2019: Trayzel Jureidini-Wyche turned into one of Carson-Newman's best pass rushers in his sophomore season. He earned national player of the week honors following the Eagles' senior day win over Tusculum (11/16) with eight tackles, 4.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss. He helped Carson-Newman hold an opponent to negative yards rushing for the seventh time in school history. The Pioneers backed up 35 yards on 30 carries for the third fewest rushing yards against Carson-Newman by a C-N opponent in school history. Wyche himself inserted his name into the record books. The 5.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks are both good enough for third all-time in C-N's all-time single game annals for both stats. His 4.5 sacks are the third highest single-game total in NCAA Division II this year, while the 5.5 tackles for loss are the sixth highest single-game total in Division II. Wyche had eight sacks on the year, the 12th-highest single-season total in school history. Wyche becomes Carson-Newman's seventh all-time national player of the week selection, and the fourth associated with the defense. Of his 21 stops on the season, 12.5 came behind the line of scrimmage. He had game ending sacks to clinch wins over West Florida and Limestone.

2018: Appeared in five games as a freshman for Carson-Newman. The defensive lineman registered five tackles with 1.5 sacks. The bulk of his numbers came against Virginia-Lynchburg (10/20) when he had four tackles and a sack. Jureidini-Wyche also competed for Carson-Newman's track and field team. He was an all-region selection in the discus from the USTFCCCA.
HIGH SCHOOL: Jureidini-Wyche played for Matthew Combs at Alexander High School where he racked up 270 tackles for his career. He impressively had 225 solo stops and averaged 8.4 tackles per game. He finished his high school career with 32 sacks, leading Douglas County and Region 5-6A in sacks as a senior.
He was lauded with all-state and all-county honors three times and all-state honors twice. He was named the Douglas County Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior.
PERSONAL: The son of Troy Wyche and Lisette Jureidini, he plans to study math at Carson-Newman.
