2023: Carson-Newman's leading receiver in 2023, Meeks caught 24 passes for 496 yards and six touchdowns. With back-to-back 100-yard receiving days against Newberry and Tusculum, Meeks became the second receiver in school history to register consecutive 100-yard receiving performances. Meeks would finish with five catches for 136 yards and two touchdowns, the first 100-plus yard day for a C-N receiver since Braxton Westfield in the 2022 season finale victory over Catawba and the 71st 100-yard receiving day in Carson-Newman history. His 42-yard score with just over a minute remaining sealed Carson-Newman’s 34-21 win at Newberry, its first in 13 years.  A five-catch, 123-yard, one TD performance followed the next week against Tusculum.  

HONORS:

2022: Carson-Newman's second-leading receiver in 2022, Meeks snagged 13 passes for 209 yards and two scores. He tallied 16.1 yards per catch and 19.0 yards per game with a long reception of 42 yards.  He saved his best performance for the last game of the season when he caught two passes for 65 yards and a touchdown at Catawba (Nov. 12).  His long catch of the year came at Tusculum (Oct. 8). His first career touchdown catch was at Emory & Henry (Oct. 29).  Meeks caught multiple passes in four games.  He also returned three kicks for 66 yards on the year.  

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Redshirted his freshman season at Jacksonville State 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for head coaches Ted Gatewood and Wesley Reynolds at East Hamilton High School in Ooltewah, Tenn…a first-team all-state player as a senior, when he also garnered first-team all-region honors…hauled in 900 receiving yards, while rushing for over 400 yards…recorded six interceptions as a senior and 10 in his career…selected for Tennessee’s East-West All-Star Game.
 
PERSONAL: Born on March 6, 2002 in Chattanooga, Tenn…the son of Bryan and April Meeks…has two older brothers – Rance and Matt.
