Carson-Newman’s Hill Garners SAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week Honors
ROCK HILL, S.C. — Carson-Newman junior forward Robert Hill (Middlesbrough, England) has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday.
ROCK HILL, S.C. — Carson-Newman junior forward Robert Hill (Middlesbrough, England) has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday.
Hill recorded a hat trick to carry the Eagles to a 4-2 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday.
Hill scored goals in the 45th, 77th and 87th minutes with his second goal proving to be the match winner. The hat trick is the third of Hill's career.
The Eagles are now 6-2-1 overall and are in first place in the conference at 4-0. C-N returns to action on Wednesday at King College.
