Eagles fall in overtime on Friday night to Nova Southeastern, 1-0
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Carson-Newman Eagles dropped a 1-0 decision on Friday night to Nova Southeastern in a neutral site contest played on the Tusculum College campus. Nova’s James Pucci scored the game’s lone goal in the 98th minute to give NSU a 1-0 win. Pucci put a free kick by C-N’s Mikey Alley (Kingsport, Tenn.)from 21 yards out to give the Sharks the win.

Nova outshot the Eagles 15-11. Pucci led the Sharks with five shots.
Senior striker Robbie Hill (Middlesborough, England) had four shots, two on frame for C-N. Alley had one save.
Carson-Newman returns to action on Sunday against Barry at Tusculum College. The match begins at 3 p.m.
