Bio
2022-2023: Castro began the season with four first-place finishes against Emory & Henry before placing third 500-yard freestyle in the Emory Invitational with a season-best time of 4:37.81. He finished second in the 1000-yard freestyle in 9:55.17 against Milligan and won gold in both the 500 free (4:50.61) and 1650 free (17:08.78) against Lees-McRae. At the Tennessee Invitational, Castro swam a personal best in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:40.54. He grabbed gold twice against Emory & Henry later in the season in both the 500 free and 1000 free.
